Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the facilitation and maintenance of LNG Crisis Management readiness, response and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice, as an identified subject matter expert, on the inter-operation of LNG crisis management system for disruptive events that impact Company business.
  • Oversee the validation of Emergency Response Plans and related documents to ensure strategic crisis management information is consistent and up to date.
  • Lead the delivery of the Tier-1 and Tier 2 crisis management exercise program and supports the required coordination of all necessary resources to achieve success.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to any recurring critical and non-critical crisis management action items for frequency and established impact to contribute to the overall reduction of operational risk.
  • Oversee the delivery of the Duty Response Manager (DRM) program and continued sustainment of training qualifications and simulations for all Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 response teams to ensure response deployment readiness.
  • Assist the Section Head with administration, implementation, and sustainability of the crisis management program across LNG.
  • Oversee and lead the continued readiness of all crisis management-based response infrastructure as per the established operational functionality protocol in addition to ensuring all identified issues/gaps arising from the submission of scheduled inspections and ready-state reports have been addressed and closed.
  • Ensure the operational function of the Emergency Notification System and its ability to support an emergency incident with LNG.
  • Develop and facilitate the implementation of the accredited Incident Command System (ICS) training including the monitoring of performance efficiency and skill gaps.
  • Guide and validate strategic pre-incident plans for sites with specific hazards in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in emergency management, disaster management, engineering, business administration, or safety & risk management.
  • Associate Emergency Managers (AEM) Designation.
  • Incident Command System Level PHONE_NUMBER.
  • Incident Command System Train-The-Trainer (TOT) Instructional Certification for ICS 100 & 200.
  • Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO) Major Emergency Management Initial Response Training (MEMIR).
  • 8 years of experience in the field of Emergency Response/Crisis Management with at least 3 years coming from a supervisory experience within large oil and gas organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in tactical and strategic leadership roles within varying types of crisis incidents.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of crisis/incident command management and control systems including organizational crisis management competency delivery mechanisms.
  • Computer literate, familiar working with Microsoft office applications.
  • Strong written and spoken English; confident and clear presentation development and delivery.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
