Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the multidisciplinary critical care team, ensuring coordinated and efficient patient management for optimal outcomes.
  • Expertly diagnose and manage complex, life-threatening conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
  • Oversee the provision of advanced life support, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and renal replacement therapy.
  • Provide expert consultation to other medical teams regarding the management of critically ill patients across various specialties.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, providing clear and compassionate explanations of complex medical information.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and hospital policies in the delivery of critical care services.
  • Actively participate in research activities, contributing to the advancement of critical care knowledge and innovation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a specialist qualification in critical care medicine.
  • Holds a valid medical license and is board-certified or eligible for certification in critical care medicine.
  • Demonstrates experience in a hospital setting with a proven track record of managing complex cases and leading teams.
  • Should be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
