Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Cross Trade Documentation Executive who is proficient in Arabic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and processing trade documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and the smooth execution of cross-border trades. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of international trade practices, along with a high level of proficiency in both Arabic and English.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Review, prepare, and process trade-related documentation including contracts, letters of credit, bills of lading.
  • Cross-Border Trade Coordination: Facilitate smooth documentation processes for cross-border trades, ensuring all documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all documentation complies with international trade regulations, policies, and guidelines, mitigating risks associated with customs, logistics, and payment terms.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Arabic-speaking clients and partners, effectively communicating document requirements, clarifications, and updates.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (sales, legal, finance, logistics) to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to trade documentation.
  • Language Support: Provide translation and interpretation services for Arabic-language documents, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with international trade standards.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update electronic files and databases for all trade-related documents, ensuring ease of access and accurate record-keeping.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve documentation issues or delays, ensuring timely execution of trade transactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on documentation status, identifying any bottlenecks or areas for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and Proficiency in International Business, Trade, Logistics, or related field.
  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic, with excellent written and spoken communication skills. Proficiency in English is also required.
  • Experience:
  1. At least 2-3 years of experience in trade documentation or a related role, preferably in cross-border or international trade.
  2. Familiarity with trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, bills of exchange, and shipping documents.
  3. Experience with customs regulations and import/export documentation processes.
  • Skills:
  1. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners in both Arabic and English.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and trade management software.
