Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
Sterilize, clean, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, sterilizers, and other decontamination equipment.
- Inspect medical instruments for functionality and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the timely availability of sterile supplies.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues related to sterilization equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of sterile supplies and instruments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Need Diploma in CSSD Assistant
SCFHS classification as Dental Assistant or CSSD Technician/Specialist (required)
3 years of dental assisting experience
Experience in a dental education environment is preferred
Good communication skills and strong knowledge of dental procedures
