Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Field Security Officer (FSO) provides practical, field-based
security support to enable safe and sustained programme delivery in Libya.

Operating in a fragmented and fluid environment, the role requires the
ability to interpret evolving conditions, assess risk in context, and translate
this into clear, actionable guidance for operational teams.

The FSO supports country teams through risk analysis, movement advisory,
incident response, and engagement with relevant security counterparts, while
ensuring alignment with CTG s global risk approach. The role is embedded within
operations and contributes directly to planning and delivery, rather than
functioning as an administrative or compliance layer.

The FSO contributes to CTG s Duty of Care by
strengthening staff awareness, supporting disciplined incident management, and
helping ensure that security considerations are applied in a way that is
proportionate, practical, and operationally relevant.
