Roles & Responsibilities

Axes d Intervention :

  • The Client Director's main role is to:
    • Strategic and economic management of key accounts.
    • Business development and customer loyalty.
    • The managerial structuring of project teams.
    • High-level strategic advice and recommendations.
    • The agency's institutional representation to clients.

Education: Bac +5 in marketing, communication, business school, strategy or equivalent.

Comp tences :

  • Strong understanding of business and finance.
  • Leadership and arbitration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic vision and a sense of advice.
  • Ability to manage pressure and complexity.

Exp rience :

  • Minimum 5-10 years of agency experience (communication, media, digital, consulting).
  • Proven experience in strategic account management and team leadership.
  • Experience interacting with management-level interlocutors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Leadership & account management:
    • To take a long-term view of the accounts and their development.
    • Gain a deep understanding of clients' business, marketing, and organizational challenges.
    • Managing the managerial ecosystem around the accounts (project managers, creatives, experts, partners).
    • Arbitrate priorities, absorb complexity and secure overall performance.
    • Make strategic decisions when necessary and take responsibility for them.
  • Business performance & value creation:
    • Guaranteeing the profitability of accounts and the control of economic balances (times, margins, costs).
    • Identify and activate development opportunities: upsell, cross-sell, scope extension.
    • Manage portfolio performance in relation to fixed financial objectives.
    • Strengthen the perception of the agency's strategic value among clients.
  • Strategic consulting & business intelligence:
    • Analyze markets, brands, consumers and competitive environments.
    • Formulate relevant and differentiating strategic recommendations.
    • To nourish customer thinking through active monitoring and useful benchmarks.
    • To contribute to raising the level of strategic thinking within the agency.
  • Internal impact & team development:
    • Structure the teams around the accounts and clarify the roles and responsibilities.
    • Supporting the skills development of employees (coaching, feedback, knowledge transfer).
    • Securing processes without falling into micromanagement.
    • To actively contribute to the culture and continuous improvement of the agency.
  • Customer relations & partner stance:
    • Building and maintaining a strong relationship of trust with client decision-makers.
    • Leading strategic meetings and key arbitrations.
    • Anticipate and manage sensitive or crisis situations with composure.
    • Represent the agency at the highest level with credibility and high standards.
