Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Sales Administration

Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Prepare and process sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client data, and transactions.

Update CRM systems with customer interactions and sales progress.

Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for smooth execution of shipments.

  1. Pricing Coordination

Coordinate with pricing, operations, and vendors to obtain competitive freight rates (air, sea, and land).

Prepare accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements.

Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate where required.

Maintain a database of rates, tariffs, and pricing structures.

Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.

  1. Customer Support

Act as a point of contact for customers for inquiries, quotations, and shipment updates.

Ensure timely responses to customer requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Coordinate with operations to track shipments and provide status updates.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

  1. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with internal departments (operations, finance, documentation) for smooth workflow.

Support the sales team in achieving targets and business growth.

Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.

Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and client communications.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • 2-4 years of experience in sales support, logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service.

    • Exposure to pricing, quotations, and rate negotiations in shipping or trading companies.

    • Experience in using CRM systems and MS Office for reporting and client management.
