Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review import/export documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to facilitate timely clearance of goods.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations, tariffs, and duties.
  • Classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) Code.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customs clearance delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and declarations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant government regulations.
  • Support the development of customs compliance strategies and best practices.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to manage landed cost and duty implications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in customs coordination, import/export, or international trade.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
