As the Cyber Resilience Manager Emerging Technologies, you will drive cybersecurity strategy for the adoption and integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), Blockchain, VR/AR, and Robotics. Define, develop and implement cyber governance, risk, compliance, and assurance frameworks that enable secure adoption of emerging technologies across the Group. Collaborate closely with business units, IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Data Analytics teams to ensure that innovation is responsibly and securely integrated into our solutions.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance and assurance frameworks tailored to emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management and global regulatory requirements. and standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Support the establishment and implementation of a Centre of Excellence for Emerging Technologies (ET) concept that acts as a single point of contact towards business demands.
- Develop, implement and oversee risk assessment methodologies and assurance activities for Emerging Technology use cases.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed cybersecurity into the lifecycle of emerging technology solutions from design and development to deployment and depreciation. Partner with Legal, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Data & Analytics teams to ensure integrated governance and compliance.
- Define and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for stakeholders involved in emerging technology initiatives to ensure transparency, accountability and secure use of emerging technologies.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for cybersecurity risks, controls, and decisions related to emerging technologies and serve as the primary point of contact for AI, GenAI, and Blockchain-related cybersecurity inquiries within the Emirates Group
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- Preferred Master s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ Years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on emerging technologies, governance, and risk management.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML security, blockchain security, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance frameworks, risk management and assurance practices.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications. (considered a bonus): CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or specialised credentials in AI/Blockchain security
