Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and other global standards

Experience working with Qatar regulatory frameworks, including exposure to MOEW or similar government entities/regulations

Strong understanding of risk assessment, control design, policy development, and compliance monitoring

Proven experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity governance frameworks

Ability to translate audit findings into actionable security improvements

Experience in cybersecurity transformation or GRC tool implementation projects

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Certifications:
    Mandatory: CISA / CISM / CRISC along with AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional)
    Preferred: CIA and other relevant cybersecurity or risk certifications
  • Experience:
    Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
    Strong expertise in both:
    • Cybersecurity / IT Audits (internal & external)
    • Implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and governance programs
  • Regional Experience:
    • Prior work experience in Qatar or the broader MENA region is highly preferred
    • Familiarity with regional compliance requirements and government ecosystems
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong stakeholder management, especially with government and regulatory bodies
    • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
    • Ability to lead audit engagements, risk workshops, and compliance reviews
    • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
