Roles & Responsibilities
Imagine guiding clients to ensure their core business services continue uninterrupted despite cyber-attacks, natural disasters, or regional outages. At Deloitte, our Technology Resilience practice transforms this vision into reality through comprehensive resilience thinking. You will help organizations identify what absolutely must continue, assess vulnerabilities across people, processes, technology, and third parties, and design robust strategies that withstand worst-case scenarios. Your insights will influence executive decisions, capital investments, and safeguard critical operations across industries.
Outcomes you will drive:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs that embed resilience across the organization.
- Lead and manage delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Lead and facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops with clients to identify critical business functions, dependencies, and recovery priorities.
- Develop comprehensive recovery plans including but not limited to Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Crisis Management Plans (CMP), Crisis Communication Plans (CCP), and IT Disaster Recovery Plans (ITDRP).
- Conduct training and awareness campaigns and sessions focused on resilience, ensuring staff at all levels understand their roles and responsibilities during disruptions.
- Perform audits and assessments against ISO 22301 standards to evaluate the effectiveness of clients BCM programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and facilitate scenario-based crisis simulations and tabletop exercises to test and validate response and recovery capabilities across business units.
- Establish and embed crisis governance structures, roles, and responsibilities to ensure clear decision-making and communication during incidents.
- Assess supply chain resilience and continuity plans to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce operational risk.
Essentials
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong English communication skills
- Minimum 5+ Years of experience in BCM, Resilience, or related role
- Strong understanding of business continuity management (BCM), crisis management, operational resilience frameworks and best practices.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end BCM programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops and risk assessments with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing, executing, and maintaining business continuity and crisis management documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading junior resources and coordinating cross-functional resilience activities.
- Experience conducting audits and assessments against ISO 22301 or equivalent business continuity standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational resilience, particularly in regulated sectors such as financial services, energy, or government.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, actionable resilience solutions.
