Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Security Monitoring & Threat Detection: Monitors security events and alerts to identify potential threats and ensure timely response to cybersecurity incidents.

  • Security Infrastructure Management: Administers and maintains security technologies to ensure protection of networks, systems, and organizational data.

  • Incident Response & Risk Mitigation: Investigates and responds to cybersecurity incidents to minimize impact and restore secure operations.

  • Vulnerability Management: Conducts vulnerability assessments and coordinates remediation activities to reduce security risks.

  • Security Policy & Compliance: Implements cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Security Awareness & Best Practices: Promotes cybersecurity awareness and best practices to reduce security risks caused by human error.

  • Security Assessment & Improvement: Evaluates security controls and recommends improvements to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintains accurate security documentation and prepares reports on security incidents, risks, and compliance status.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security operations.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)


Technical Knowledge:

  • Security monitoring and incident response

  • Vulnerability management and risk assessment

  • Network and system security principles

  • Security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks
