Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Data Analyst – Transformation & Performance Management is a strategic role responsible for supporting the organization's institutional transformation program through comprehensive data analysis, KPI tracking, dashboard management, and performance reporting. This position serves as the analytical backbone of the Transformation Office ensuring data-driven decision-making, tracking program milestones, monitoring deliverable deadlines, and providing actionable insights to leadership.

  1. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Transformation Program Support

  • Design, develop, and maintain strategic performance dashboards using Clear Point or similar platforms to track transformation program KPIs across all pillars and streams

  • Monitor and report on program progress using RAG (Red-Amber-Green) status indicators, tracking milestones, deliverables, and gate readiness criteria

  • Prepare weekly transformation status reports for TMO leadership and monthly executive dashboards for Steering Committee review

  • Maintain and update the program risk register, tracking risk mitigation actions and escalation triggers

  • Support gate readiness assessments by consolidating deliverable evidence, compliance documentation, and performance metrics

  • Track dependencies across transformation streams and identify potential bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely data collection from all transformation workstreams

  • Develop automated reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve data refresh frequency

B. Data Analysis & Reporting (Business-as-Usual)

  • Analyze real estate operational data including portfolio performance, occupancy rates, rental yields, and property valuations

  • Generate regular business intelligence reports for various stakeholders across asset management, finance, and operations teams

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in operational data to support strategic decision-making

  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests from senior management and department heads

  • Maintain and enhance existing reporting infrastructure to ensure business continuity

C. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Document data collection processes, reporting workflows, and dashboard maintenance procedures

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and eliminate redundant reporting activities

  • Collaborate with process improvement initiatives to embed data governance standards

  • Support the development of standardized KPI definitions and measurement frameworks across departments

D. Data Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms and dashboards

  • Implement data validation checks and quality control procedures for transformation program metrics

  • Maintain data dictionaries and documentation for all KPIs and performance indicators

  • Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies

  • Support the establishment of a single source of truth for transformation program data

E. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Transformation Management Office (TMO), Project Managers, and stream leads to gather performance data

  • Present analytical findings and insights to senior leadership, Steering Committee, and Architecture Review Board (ARB)

  • Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready visualizations and narratives

  • Facilitate data-driven discussions during transformation reviews and gate assessments

  • Respond to data queries and provide analytical support to cross-functional teams

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

A. Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

  • Hands-on experience with ClearPoint Strategy or equivalent strategic performance management platforms

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modeling

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana)

  • Familiarity with BI platforms, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes

  • Knowledge of real estate analytics (portfolio management, occupancy tracking, lease management) is a plus.


    B. Transformation & PMO Skills

    • Deep understanding of transformation program structures, governance frameworks, and phase-gate methodologies

    • Experience developing and tracking strategic KPIs, operational metrics, and transformation program scorecards

    • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, issue escalation protocols, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs

    • Familiarity with change management principles and organizational transformation best practices

    • Experience supporting PMO/TMO functions in large-scale transformation or change initiatives.


    C. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

    • Strong analytical thinking with ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights

    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality

    • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop data-driven solutions

    • Critical thinking skills to challenge assumptions and validate data integrity

    • Proactive approach to identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement


    D. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

    • Ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

    • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across multiple teams and hierarchy levels

    • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively in cross-functional transformation teams

    • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A. Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Data Analytics, or related discipline is preferred.


B. Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance management roles

  • At least 2-3 years of experience supporting transformation programs, PMO/TMO functions, or large-scale organizational change initiatives

  • Proven track record of designing and managing strategic dashboards and KPI tracking systems

  • Experience working in real estate, asset management, or family office environments is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated experience with transformation governance frameworks, gate reviews, and program reporting.


C. Professional Certifications (Preferred)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar

  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, CCMP)

  • Data analytics or BI platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist)

  • ClearPoint Strategy platform certification (if available)
