Roles & Responsibilities
The Data Analytics COE Manager will lead the development and management of the organization s centralized analytics enablement function. This role ensures that all business units operate using consistent, reliable, well-governed, and cost-efficient data. Acting as the strategic bridge between business teams and the central data organization, this position is responsible for defining enterprise-wide data standards, maintaining certified datasets, enforcing governance frameworks, and enabling effective self-service analytics across the company.
Key Responsibilities

1. Data Standardization

Define and maintain company-wide KPI and metric definitions (e.g., revenue, retention, margin).

Manage certified SQL/dbt data models used across functional analytics teams.

Oversee the documentation, data catalog, and semantic layer to ensure clarity and consistency.

2. Governance & Data Quality

Implement and enforce role-based access control and data certification processes.

Establish and monitor data quality checks, alerts, and versioning standards for analytics assets.

Own change management workflows for metrics, dashboards, and reporting logic.

3. Self-Service Analytics Enablement

Curate and maintain the centralized library of certified datasets and dashboards.

Provide enablement support through documentation, training workshops, office hours, and analyst coaching.

Track BI usage, dashboard adoption, and user satisfaction to continuously improve the analytics experience.

4. Cost & Performance Optimization

Monitor data platform and BI tools to ensure cost efficiency and optimal performance.

Collaborate with data engineering to improve query performance and compute resource utilization.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise analytics standards and best practices.

Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product analytics teams to ensure alignment and consistency across business reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
-
6 10 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, BI governance, or data program management.

Hands-on experience with modern data stacks, such as Snowflake / BigQuery, dbt, Looker / Power BI / Tableau, Airflow, etc.

Strong SQL and dimensional data modeling capabilities.

Proven experience supporting or leading distributed analytics teams.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
