Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Build and optimize data architectures, data models, and data warehouses.

Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party platforms).

Ensure data reliability, consistency, and integrity across systems.

Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions.

Optimize query performance and pipeline efficiency.

Implement data validation, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms.

Work closely with data analysts, BI developers, and product teams to support reporting and analytics.

Prepare datasets for dashboards, business intelligence tools, and machine learning models.

Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

Implement data governance policies, access controls, and security practices.

Maintain documentation for data pipelines, schemas, and workflows.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

0 3 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development.

Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.

Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.

Technical Skills

Programming: Python / Java / Scala

Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server

Data Processing: Apache Spark, Airflow , Superbase

Data Warehousing: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Version Control: Git

Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture principles

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis).

Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience supporting Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Exposure to data lake architectures.
