Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned ETL and Data Warehouse professional with deep expertise in IBM technologies to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust data integration solutions, optimize performance, and collaborate in agile environments to support enterprise data needs. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in EMEA on high-impact projects.

Location: Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL workflows and data warehouse (DWH) solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Integrate data from various sources into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Optimize data integration processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
• Utilize IBM Information Analyzer and IBM QualityStage for data profiling and quality management.
• Write and tune advanced SQL/PLSQL queries on IBM Db2, Oracle, and other RDBMS platforms.
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
• Support and maintain existing data integration solutions and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master s or Ph.D. a plus).
• Strong experience in ETL, data warehousing, and data integration projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ETL tools and data warehousing.
• Experience working in agile development teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end data pipeline development and maintenance.

Technical Skills:

• IBM InfoSphere DataStage
• IBM Information Analyzer and QualityStage
• SQL/PLSQL, including performance tuning
• IBM Db2, Oracle, or other major RDBMS platforms
• Experience with data modeling, data profiling, and data governance

Functional Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and remote teams

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master s or Ph.D. in a related field
• Experience in data governance initiatives
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms is a plus
• Leadership experience or mentoring in previous roles
