Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Mission:
Model and publish data on usage and customer interactions, and calculate B2C activity indicators.
This data allows entities in commerce, customer service, direct sales, marketing, and finance to effectively manage their activities. The mission will consist of:
1) Propose appropriate and innovative solutions in response to the needs expressed by the business units. Design the data model according to best practices. Design and develop the application based on the previously written specifications. Ensure overall consistency of the solution with the existing system. Test, identify, and resolve any malfunctions of the developed component. Participate in the commissioning and implementation of projects, design indicators for monitoring service quality and data. Support business units in the use of published data, and write the user guides and documentation necessary for operation.
2) Analyze and correct incidents reported by users. Optimize existing processes (automation, standardization, volume management, security).
Essential skill areas: advanced SQL, business requirements analysis, data processing pipeline design, conceptual and physical modeling, testing, project management
Desired: teradata, hive, shell, python
Desired Candidate Profile
Young graduate or profile with 1-2 years of experience in data engineering, computer science or statistics.
- Good knowledge of SQL and understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
- Curiosity and desire to learn Big Data technologies (ETL, data pipelines, Hive, Teradata, Python).
- Ability to understand business needs and collaborate with different teams (sales, marketing, finance).
- Rigour, analytical mind and a taste for teamwork.
