Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute ETL processes using tools like Informatica to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses.
  • Build and maintain database structures and schemas to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Write and optimise complex SQL queries, linking multiple data sources for analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and modelling techniques to meet business needs.
  • Link and upload data to data warehouses, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Format and prepare data for use in BI tools to enable effective visualisation and analytics.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Document data processes, schemas, and workflows to support team collaboration and compliance.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality data pipelines on time to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure high data accuracy and integrity through effective quality controls.
  • Enable seamless data availability for BI tools and stakeholder reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master s degree is a plus.

  • ETL Expertise (Mandatory): 5+ years of data engineering experience, with hands-on expertise designing and executing ETL processes using Informatica.
  • SQL Mastery (Mandatory): Advanced proficiency in writing and optimising complex SQL queries for data analysis and linking multiple sources.
  • Data Warehouse Integration (Mandatory): Proven experience linking and uploading data to data warehouses, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Experience building and optimising database schemas and structures.
  • Strong understanding of data quality practices and data modelling techniques.
  • Ability to format data for BI tools to support analytics and visualisation.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with additional ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Apache NiFi) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Passion for building scalable, data-driven solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Min 5 years and Maximum 8-10 years only.
