Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Integrated into the DF Supply teams, the consultant will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining massive data processing solutions using Big Data technologies and GCP tools. He/she will be responsible for setting up and optimizing data pipelines, analyzing performance and continuously improving existing solutions.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Master Google Cloud Platform ( GCP ) Cloud technologies for data management, orchestration and deployment of Big Data solutions.
- Have deep expertise in BigQuery and BigTable for large-scale data storage, manipulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in Scala or Java programming languages for developing Big Data solutions, with significant experience in one of the two.
- Have hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and its associated tools like Spark and Apache Kafka for distributed data processing.
- Be able to design and implement complex data pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka and Avro for data flow management.
- Master the basic concepts of Kafka for the design and implementation of distributed messaging systems.
- Have a good understanding of NoSQL databases , including Cassandra and BigTable , for storing and retrieving unstructured data.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate of a Bac+5 from an engineering school or equivalent university with a specialization in IT, or with significant equivalent experience
More than 7 years of experience in GCP
Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector would be a plus.
