Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows for ingesting, transforming, and integrating Oil & Gas datasets (seismic, drilling, production, etc.).
  • Design, implement, and manage Business Process Management (BPM) workflows using jBPM, ensuring they meet operational and business objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain BPM process instances, proactively identifying and resolving performance or execution issues.
  • Develop and integrate custom service tasks (REST API clients) to ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
  • Configure and automate notification services (e.g., email alerts for case creation, updates, and closures).
  • Ensure system performance, data consistency, and fault tolerance across integrated components.
  • Support application testing (AUT/UAT) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve workflow or integration issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in data engineering, workflow integration, or backend development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Postgres, Python, SQL, and API development frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with BPM tools, message queues, or automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of AWS or hybrid cloud environments (especially S3, EC2, Google Cloud Storage, and Azure Blob Storage).
  • Solid grasp of data validation, security, and monitoring best practices.

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, or data governance frameworks.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or BPM technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
