Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Data Entry operator is responsible for accurate data entry, inventory record maintenance, and supporting the inventory cycle count and reconciliation process. The role ensures timely system updates, accurate stock reporting, and audit-ready documentation. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain data in ERP/CRM systems, Excel sheets, and internal databases.

  • Verify all entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and operational reports.

  • Assist the warehouse team in conducting daily, weekly, monthly, or scheduled inventory cycle counts.

  • Record cycle count results accurately and update variances in the system.

  • Compare physical stock against system stock and report discrepancies to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Support inventory reconciliation and follow up on unresolved variances.

  • Update ERP/WMS systems immediately after cycle counts to ensure real-time stock accuracy.

  • Maintain audit-ready records of count sheets, stock adjustments, and inventory movement logs.

Desired Candidate Profile

High School Diploma. Bachelors degree or Certification or diploma in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a data entry, inventory support, warehouse administration, or stock control role.

  • Hands-on experience working with ERP/WMS systems is required.

  • Experience in retail, distribution, or appliance inventory environments is an advantage.
