Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the data governance framework and standards across business units.
  • Deploy and manage data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct data profiling to assess accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity.
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics and establish rules for data validation.
  • Develop and maintain metadata repositories and ensure up-to-date documentation of data sources and lineage.
  • Support data privacy, protection, and compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., PDPL).
  • Collaborate with data stewards, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure alignment with governance policies.
  • Identify and resolve data ownership and accountability gaps across departments.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track governance performance and data quality improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data management maturity and governance adoption.
  • Promote data stewardship culture through awareness, training, and best-practice sharing.
  • Support the integration of governance practices within enterprise data management and analytics initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science , Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, governance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data control processes.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, IDMC, OvalEdge, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data management technologies, such as data warehousing and data cataloging systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Preferable certification: DAMA, Informatica, or equivalent professional certifications are an advantage.
