Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin.
• Translate business requirements from telecom systems (CRM, Call Center, Billing, Network) into scalable and optimized data models.
• Ensure models support B2B and B2C data flows, including customer management, billing, product offerings, and service usage.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to support BI, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, metadata, and lineage.
• Support ETL/ELT teams with model optimization for integration and performance.
• Align models with Cloudera big data platform (Hive, Impala, HDFS) and real-time streaming pipelines (Kafka, Confluent).
• Participate in data governance initiatives ensuring data security, privacy, and quality compliance.
• Maintain version control and manage changes through structured processes.
• Provide guidance on data modeling best practices and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling with hands-on ERwin expertise.
• Strong background in telecom operational systems (CRM, Call Center, Billing, Network).
• Solid understanding of B2B/B2C telecom data flows and business processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and normalization techniques.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
• Experience with Cloudera stack (Hive, Impala, HDFS) and streaming platforms (Kafka/Confluent).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Spark, Python).
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and master data concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
