Data Protection & Privacy Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Specialist to manage, configure, and optimize our data protection platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification tools, along with a strong understanding of data privacy frameworks and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end administration, configuration tuning, and version upgrades of data protection platforms.
• Implement and manage Forcepoint DLP (endpoint, network – web/email, cloud), IBM Guardium Data Protection, and Boldon James Data Classification.
• Translate compliance and regulatory requirements into technical enforcement policies.
• Integrate DLP and data protection platforms with SIEM, IRM, CASB, and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure handling of sensitive data.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents related to data protection.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, and security roles.
• Hands-on experience with:
  Forcepoint DLP (endpoint, network, cloud)
  IBM Guardium Data Protection
  Boldon James Data Classification
• Strong understanding of:
  Data privacy frameworks
  Encryption, Information Rights Management (IRM), CASB
• Ability to translate compliance requirements into technical enforcement policies.
• Familiarity with SIEM, IRM, CASB, and ticketing system integrations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
