Data Science Analyst TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking a Data Science Intern in Hyderabad to work alongside our AI team on impactful projects in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision. In this role, you will preprocess data, develop and evaluate models using frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras, explore retrieval-augmented generation with LangChain, and build interactive prototypes with Streamlit. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply technical skills in Python, SQL, and data visualization to real-world problems, while expanding your expertise in the latest AI technologies. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing structured and unstructured data from various sources Perform exploratory data analysis and visualize data to extract actionable insights Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models using Scikit-learn Support deep learning projects using TensorFlow and Keras for NLP and computer vision tasks Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques and LangChain for language-based applications Build and deploy interactive data science prototypes and dashboards using Streamlit Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while following best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions and communicate results effectively Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (in progress or completed) 0-1 years of experience in data science or related internships/projects Proficiency in Python programming and experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) Strong understanding of SQL for data querying and database management Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and practical experience with Scikit-learn Familiarity with deep learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with NLP and computer vision techniques Familiarity with RAG methodologies and LangChain frameworks Experience building interactive web apps and dashboards with Streamlit Prior project or internship experience in AI/ML Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
