Data Science Intern TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Hyderabad team. In this role, you will support data-driven projects by collecting, analyzing, and modeling data to derive actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions, and create compelling visualizations and reports. Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for analysis Assist in designing and building machine learning and deep learning models Perform exploratory data analysis and generate visual insights Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements Document methodologies and present insights to stakeholders Required Qualifications: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) Basic knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases Hands-on experience with Excel for data manipulation and analysis Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 0–1 year of internship or project experience in data science or analytics Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies Prior internship or academic projects in data science Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
