Data Science Intern TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: As a Data Science Intern based in Hyderabad, you will collaborate with our data science team to support the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning and AI-driven solutions. You will gain hands-on experience working with Python libraries and frameworks to preprocess data, build and fine-tune models for NLP and computer vision tasks, develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and create interactive prototypes and dashboards. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior data scientists to design, implement, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets for NLP and computer vision projects Develop and optimize RAG workflows using LangChain Build interactive prototypes and dashboards using Streamlit for data visualization Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases Fine-tune models with TensorFlow, Keras, and scikit-learn, and evaluate performance metrics Document experiments, code, and findings in clear technical reports Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for collaborative development Required Qualifications: Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries: Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras Understanding of NLP techniques and computer vision fundamentals Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and LangChain Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation Ability to create data visualizations using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar tools Exposure to Streamlit for developing interactive applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 0–1 years of internship or project experience in data science or related fields Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Experience with version control (Git) and containerization (Docker) Participation in hackathons, competitions, or open-source projects Basic understanding of agile development methodologies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment
