About the Role: We are seeking a Data Science Intern to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers to support data-driven decision making. You will gain hands-on experience in data collection, preprocessing, analysis, and model development using state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning techniques. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets Perform exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights Develop and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models under guidance Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements Document methodologies, results, and maintain reproducible workflows Present findings and visualizations to stakeholders Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting Solid understanding of statistics and probability Familiarity with machine learning basics and model evaluation techniques Basic knowledge of deep learning concepts Experience with SQL for querying relational databases Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly Hands-on exposure to deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) Experience with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) Previous internship or project experience in data science or analytics Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
