About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Shimla team. In this role, you will support data-driven projects by collecting and analyzing data, building basic machine learning models, and creating visualizations. You will work closely with experienced data scientists to gain hands-on experience in Python, statistics, SQL, and data visualization while contributing to real-world business initiatives. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets for analysis Develop and validate basic machine learning models under guidance Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights Perform statistical analyses to support decision-making Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders Required Qualifications: Pursuing or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field Proficiency in Python programming Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (regression, classification) Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) Basic knowledge of statistical concepts (distributions, hypothesis testing) Familiarity with SQL and relational databases Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills 0–1 years of experience through academic projects or internships Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas and scikit-learn Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory data analysis Knowledge of data pipeline concepts and ETL processes Exposure to version control systems like Git Interest in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
