Data Science Intern TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Karachi team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced data scientists to collect, analyze, and model data to support business decisions. This internship offers hands-on experience with Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and basic machine learning in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing Perform exploratory data analysis and generate insightful visualizations Develop and evaluate basic machine learning models Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders Required Qualifications: 0-1 years of experience or current enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s program Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and workflows Experience writing SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) Familiarity with scikit-learn or similar ML frameworks Exposure to Jupyter notebooks and Git version control Ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions Prior project or coursework in data science or analytics Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
