Roles & Responsibilities

As part of our technical team expansion, we are seeking an Oracle DBA to manage, optimize, and secure the company's Oracle databases. You will play a vital role in the performance, availability, and reliability of critical environments.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, the ability to manage technical activities and support projects, as well as a constant commitment to guaranteeing a high level of quality, security and continuity of service.

Your tasks

Support management, design and strategy

Administer Oracle databases in DEV/TEST/REC/PROD environments .
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle versions (19c+).
Manage access: users, roles, privileges, and security.
Manage storage: tablespaces, ASM, capacity , and organization.
Monitor database availability, health, and performance.
Diagnose and resolve Level 1/Level 2 production incidents .
Perform performance analyses and optimize SQL/databases.
Implement and test RMAN backups and restores .
Apply updates, patches, and security fixes.

Transition of services

Participate in projects: migrations, version upgrades, and architectural evolutions.
Contribute to internal practices: security, auditing, standards, and documentation.
Assist application teams and participate in on-call duty if necessary.

Technology watch

Actively monitor Oracle developments: new versions, patches, fixes, and innovations.
Promote best practices in administration, performance, and security within the teams.
Identify and propose improvements to enhance the optimization, reliability, and automation of environments.
Track advancements related to infrastructure, monitoring tools, and database-related technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in Oracle administration (2+ years), with a demonstrated ability to work in critical environments.
Knowledge of advanced technologies is valued: ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC . Proficiency in Linux/Unix
environments , with practical experience in automation using Shell/Python scripts. Strong analytical skills to address complex problems and propose relevant optimizations. Rigorous, autonomous, and service-oriented, with a genuine commitment to quality and reliability. Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative spirit, and the ability to interact effectively with technical and business teams.
