Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement database structures that meet organizational needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor database performance, conduct regular maintenance, and tune SQL queries to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Execute data backup and recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of system failures.
- Develop and enforce database security protocols to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in database principles.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing database systems in a production environment, showcasing practical knowledge.
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate to validate expertise.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, demonstrating versatility in handling different types of data storage technologies.
