Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise SQL Server databases and related database applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in T-SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and query optimization, along with database design, normalization, and indexing for high-performance systems.
Hands-on experience with MSSQL administration tasks such as backup/recovery, security, and performance monitoring is required.
The role involves collaborating with backend developers, solution architects, and business analysts to implement efficient, secure, and scalable data solutions, integrating with systems like webMethods, Redis, PostgreSQL, and cloud storage (AWS S3).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise best practices for data management is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to ensure reliable, maintainable, and high-performing database solutions. lve database performance issues, identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, providing a strong foundation in database principles.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, validating expertise.
- Demonstrates 5+ years of hands-on experience in the financial services industry, showcasing relevant domain knowledge.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning, essential for efficient database management.
