Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage, optimize, and secure enterprise SQL Server databases.



  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MSSQL database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and high availability.

  • Responsibilities include monitoring database performance, designing and implementing indexes, stored procedures, and queries, managing security and access controls, and ensuring data integrity across enterprise systems.

  • Hands-on experience integrating with applications and platforms.

  • The DBA will collaborate with developers, solution architects, and DevOps teams to optimize database performance, support CI/CD pipelines, and implement best practices for scalability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential to maintain reliable and high-performing database environments.

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) ,Azure Data Studio SQL Server Profiler ,Extended Events SQL Server Agent Database Engine Tuning Advisor (DTA) ,Redgate SQL Toolbelt Microsoft Azure Portal (for Azure SQL), PowerShell with SQL Server Module Performance Monitor (PerfMon)

Manage, optimize, secure, and ensure high availability of SQL Server databases while maintaining performance, integrity, and compliance

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field provides a solid foundation.
  • Possession of Microsoft SQL Server certifications, such as MCSA or MCSE, demonstrates a commitment to professional development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA, showcasing practical expertise in database administration.
  • Experience in the financial or healthcare industries is highly valued due to the critical nature of data management.
