Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure all inbound and outbound products are inspected per approved SOPs and sampling plans. Manage acceptance, partial, or full rejection decisions based on approved specifications.

  • Monitor product quality, temperature conditions, shelf life, and storage compliance across all DC areas. Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive and high-risk products.
  • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO implementation and monitor aging stock to reduce waste, deterioration, and operational losses.
  • Supervise repacking, sorting, grading, and handling activities to maintain product integrity, hygiene, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, Planning, and Suppliers on quality issues, corrective actions, and operational challenges.
  • Ensure accurate product traceability and documentation across receiving, storage, production, and dispatch operations.
  • Lead investigations on product damage, complaints, and quality deviations. Implement corrective actions to continuously improve operational performance.
  • Bachelor's in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
  • ISO 22000 & HACCP certified (preferred)
  • Fresh produce quality control or food industry operations
