Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Support Level 1 and 2 energy audits, providing energy efficiency recommendations.
- Support GHG emissions calculations and reporting based on GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1.
- Support clients in developing science-based targets.
- Assist in climate risk assessments and climate resilience studies.
- Contribute to net-zero planning studies for clients.
- Support clients in developing awareness of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
- Support HVAC system assessments and optimization studies.
- Contribute to technical and commercial proposals and RFP responses.
- Support renewable energy project evaluations and energy transition studies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Contribute to proposal preparation when needed.
- Support the delivery of sustainability and energy projects.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement with internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate sustainability across projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, energy management, or a related field.
- Some experience supporting Level 1 and 2 energy audits.
- Knowledge of GHG emissions accounting and sustainability standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SBTi).
- Familiarity with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with datasets.
- Basic knowledge of feasibility assessments for sustainability and energy projects.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office software.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and renewable energy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in energy auditing, GHG emissions calculations, and sustainability projects. They should have knowledge of international frameworks such as GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 50001, and Net Zero strategies. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical skills, and the ability to support the delivery of high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years' of experience contributing to sustainability and energy management initiatives for a diverse client base. , or a related field partnered with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, or a related field.
