Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel generators, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Conduct load testing and performance analysis of generators, evaluating their output, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards, and making necessary adjustments.
- Repair and overhaul diesel engine components, such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and water pumps, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications and performance requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Holds a relevant technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field (e.g., diesel engine technology).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in diesel generator maintenance and repair, ideally within the power generation industry.
- Demonstrates proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines and generator systems.
