Roles & Responsibilities
Imagine supporting clients to ensure their core business services continue uninterrupted despite cyber-attacks, natural disasters, or regional outages. At Deloitte, our Technology Resilience practice transforms this vision into reality through comprehensive resilience thinking. As a Consultant, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to help organisations identify what absolutely must continue, assess vulnerabilities across people, processes, technology, and third parties, and contribute to designing robust strategies that withstand worst-case scenarios. Your insights will support executive decisions, capital investments, and safeguard critical operations across industries
Outcomes you will drive:
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of Business Continuity Management (BCM) programmes that embed resilience across the organisation.
- Support delivery teams in implementing business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Facilitate and participate in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops with clients to identify critical business functions, dependencies, and recovery priorities.
- Help develop comprehensive recovery plans including Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Crisis Management Plans (CMP), Crisis Communication Plans (CCP), and IT Disaster Recovery Plans (ITDRP).
- Conduct training and awareness sessions focused on resilience, ensuring staff at all levels understand their roles and responsibilities during disruptions.
- Assist in performing audits and assessments against ISO 22301 standards to evaluate the effectiveness of clients BCM programmes and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the design and facilitation of scenario-based crisis simulations and tabletop exercises to test and validate response and recovery capabilities across business units.
- Contribute to establishing crisis governance structures, roles, and responsibilities to ensure clear decision-making and communication during incidents.
- Assist in assessing supply chain resilience and continuity plans to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce operational risk.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essentials
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong English communication skills
- Minimum 3+ Years of experience in BCM, Resilience, or related role
- Solid understanding of business continuity management (BCM), crisis management, and operational resilience frameworks and best practices.
- Experience supporting end-to-end BCM programmes.
- Ability to facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops and risk assessments with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing, executing, and maintaining business continuity and crisis management documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working in teams and coordinating cross-functional resilience activities.
- Experience assisting in audits and assessments against ISO 22301 or equivalent business continuity standards.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational resilience, particularly in regulated sectors such as financial services, energy, or government.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at various organisational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, actionable resilience solutions.

- Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools and advanced technologies to enhance business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience capabilities.
- Familiarity with emergency response technologies and systems that support rapid mobilisation, communication, and coordination during crises.
- Experience working in or with Big 4 or other leading consulting firms, bringing a client-facing mindset and ability to contribute to resilience programmes at scale.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives that integrate resilience considerations into business processes and decision-making through technology enablement.
- Professional certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CBCI, or DORA/operational resilience credentials (or willingness to pursue).
- Experience supporting clients in regulated industries with complex resilience requirements, leveraging consulting best practices and frameworks.
