Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales data, promotions, seasonality, and market trends
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts at SKU, category, and store level
Collaborate with sales, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align forecasts
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models
Support inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory
Prepare regular demand planning reports and dashboards for management
Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes
Identify risks and opportunities in demand patterns and recommend corrective actions
Desired Candidate Profile
3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning (retail or FMCG preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency in Excel and planning tools (ERP systems, forecasting software)
Ability to analyze sales data, trends, and market conditions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
