Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- develop and improve the reliability of short, medium and long term demand forecasts
- Analyze sales history, market trends, and business data
- Collaborating with the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to build a consensus forecast
- To define supply needs in coordination with logistics and production
- Optimize stock levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking
- Monitor performance indicators: forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover
- Implement and improve Demand Planning tools and processes
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings
- Anticipate the risks of disruption and propose corrective action plans.
- Bachelor's degree (4-5 years of higher education) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Research
- 3-7 years of experience in demand planning/forecasting
- Good mastery of advanced Excel tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent)
- Good understanding of logistics flows and the supply chain
- Analytical mind, rigor and a sense of anticipation
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- Good level of communication and ability to synthesize information
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree (4-5 years of higher education) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Research
3-7 years of experience in demand planning/forecasting
