Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demand Forecasting & Analysis
  • Lead the development of accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecastsbr>using statistical models and business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Finance to integrate market intelligence, promotions, andbr>business development activities into demand plans
  • Monitor forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE, bias) and drive continuous improvementbr>initiatives.
  • Prepare regular demand review reports for executive decision-making.
  • Supply & Replenishment Planning
  • Translate demand plans into effective supply and replenishment plans across the supplybr>chain network.
  • Develop monthly and weekly supply plans in coordination with Procurement andbr>Logistics to ensure service level targets are met.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead times to ensure timely replenishment andbr>mitigate potential shortages.
  • Manage planning parameters such as lead times, order quantities, and reorder points.
  • Inventory & Stock Cover Management
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to achieve the balance between service level targetsbr>and working capital efficiency.
  • Track and report stock cover performance by SKU/category, ensuring alignment withbr>business objectives.
  • Drive periodic inventory reviews to identify potential risks (overstock, expiries, orbr>stockouts).
  • Support Finance in evaluating inventory valuation and provisions for obsolescence.
  • Safety Stock & Risk Management
  • Establish and maintain safety stock policies based on supply availability, demandbr>variability, lead time uncertainty, and service level targets.
  • Continuously review safety stock parameters to adapt to changing market and supplybr>conditions.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions, demand surges, and other riskbr>factors.
  • Overstock, Expiries, and Waste Management
  • Monitor and analyze excess and aging inventory to identify root causes and correctivebr>actions.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Procurment to design sell-through or liquidation plans forbr>overstocked or near-expiry items.
  • Implement inventory health metrics and dashboards for ongoing visibility andbr>accountability.
  • Procurement Cash Flow & Financial Forecasting
  • Translate supply plans into accurate procurement cash forecasts in collaboration withbr>Finance and Procurement.
  • Ensure alignment between purchasing plans, cash flow forecasts, and working capitalbr>objectives.
  • Support budget planning by providing visibility into forecasted procurement andbr>inventory investments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management,br>preferably within FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes, forecasting methodologies, andbr>inventory optimization.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo or Dynamics) and planning tools (e.g., APO,br>IBP, Kinaxis, or OMP).

Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
