Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and readily available.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and cleaning of the treatment area to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and manage patient comfort and anxiety levels, providing empathetic support during dental procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Completion of a recognized dental nursing qualification or diploma is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant dental experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
- Preference for candidates with experience in a diverse practice, including pediatric and orthodontic dentistry.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus to cater to diverse patients.
- Proficiency in dental software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships and ease their anxieties during treatments.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate records and inventory.
- A compassionate and friendly demeanor, with a genuine interest in patient care and dental health education.
