Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary A leading tertiary hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking an accomplished Department Chair Breast Surgery to lead and develop a comprehensive breast care program. The role combines advanced clinical practice with strategic leadership, academic development, and service expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all clinical, operational, and academic activities within the Breast Surgery department.
- Perform complex oncologic and reconstructive breast surgeries.
- Develop multidisciplinary breast cancer programs and tumor boards.
- Establish clinical protocols aligned with international best practices.
- Mentor consultants, specialists, and surgical trainees.
- Contribute to research, innovation, and service line growth.

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery and subspecialty training in Breast Surgery.
- International Board Certification (Tier 1 preferred).
- Extensive Consultant-level experience with proven leadership background.
- DOH license or eligibility.
- Strong record of academic and clinical excellence.
