Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures
- Conduct laparoscopic surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, etc.)
- Manage trauma and acute abdominal emergencies
- Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up
- Participate in surgical on-call rotations
- Supervise junior surgical staff (Consultant level)
- Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement programs
Desired Candidate Profile
Recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in General Surgery
Valid MOH license or eligibility
Strong laparoscopic case log
Minimum 4 6 years post-specialist experience
Leadership experience preferred for Consultant level
