Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Maintenance Manager located in El Mokattam. The Deputy Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. The role also includes supervising the maintenance team, tracking maintenance metrics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Team Management:

Supervise and provide training to maintenance engineers and technicians, assign work orders, and conduct performance reviews.

• Maintenance Programs:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, corrective maintenance, and routine servicing for various medical devices.

• Equipment Oversight:

Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and recommend repairs or replacements to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

• Budget & Resources:

Manage and track the maintenance budget, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the department.

• Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations (like FDA or OSHA), manufacturer guidelines, and internal policies.

• Record Keeping & Reporting:

Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance data, and generate reports for management.

• Emergency Response:

Participate in on-call duties and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime for critical equipment.

• Collaboration:

Work with other departments (such as clinical engineering and hospital staff) to address maintenance-related issues and improve equipment management.
