Roles & Responsibilities

The deputy supervisors shall assist the facility supervisor in managing the manpower & equipment area assigned to their respective areas. They shall be able to lead a team of operational staff to carry out operation of the facility in a safe manner and be able to trouble shoot and optimize the various operations at the facility.

All the deputy supervisors shall possess a valid Qatari Driving license. CONTRACTOR shall provide adequate number of 4×4 pick-up for the movement around the facility. Until such time that the deputy supervisor’s does not attain driving license, CONTRACTOR shall provide the 4×4 pic-up with the driver for smooth operation of the facility.

The WMF Deputy Supervisors must possess knowledge, skills and abilities in but not limited to the following:

· Considerable knowledge of maintenance requirements and capabilities of heavy earth moving equipment.

·Considerable knowledge of road construction and excavation using heavy equipment.

· Good knowledge of WMF waste materials and by-products.

· Good knowledge of Civil Engineering principles. Good knowledge on preparation of estimate and the budgeting process.

· Familiarity with of recycling programs, procedures, and techniques as applied to WMF.

· Skill in the operation of personal computer.

· Ability to maintain accurate detailed records.

· Ability to prepare narrative and technical reports.

· Ability to read and interpret WMF laboratory reports.

· Ability to read and interpret relevant laws, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Qualification: Diploma in Environmental / Civil / Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Experience: Total 5 years relevant experience in Waste Management of similar size/capacity.
