1. Manage the assigned clinics as per the approved rota by the Medical Director./p> <

2. Responsible for initial assessment, requesting investigation, analysing the rest results, diagnosis, treatment, and re-assessment on follow- up to reach a final diagnosis./p> <

3. Admit the patients under his/ her care whenever indicated within the limits of the approved and assigned privileges./p> <

4. Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness or disease./p> <

5. Explain procedures and discuss diagnostic results or prescribed treatments with the patients and his/ her attendants./p> <

6. Responsible for monitoring the patients' condition and progress and re-evaluate/ re-assessment and treat the patient accordingly./p> <

7. Refer patient to other specialists when necessary, also consult with, or provide consulting services to, other physicians whenever requested./p> <

8. Take daily rounds for his/ her In-Patients and referred patients./p> <

9. Write the patients complete medical record on time and also update the progress notes on same time./p> <

10. Authenticate the medical records at initial entries and progress notes by logging in with own username and password in Patient Health Records./p> <

11. Perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures for which he/ she is specifically privileged according to his/ her qualification, licenses, training & experience./p> <

12. Responsible for approving the Discharge Summary, follow-ups, Medical Report of his/ her patients./p> <

13. Ensure the implementation of all the approved policies and procedures, rules, regulations, protocols and guidelines, clinical pathways that guide and support the provision of clinical services./p> <

14. Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff in patient care./p> <

15. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures as part of the continuous quality improvement of his/ her department./

16. Serve on Departmental / Hospital Committees as requested./p> <

17. Ensure that Islamic Values and Medical Ethics are respected and strictly observed./p> <

3.18 Be On-Call as per hospital policy, as needed and will assume the duties of Head of Department./p> <

19. Attend the Code Blue (if applicable) and should be involved in all other emergency codes of the hospital./p> <

20. Ensure that all reports and information as required by the Head of the Department/ Medical Director are provided./p> <

21. Identify and appropriately transferring all the Medico-Legal Cases on time with all the proper documentation and information to the hospital management as per the hospital policy. 3.22 Participate in the provision of clinical / academic activities of the hospital./p> <

23. Play an active role in the education of the patient and his/ her family on a healthy lifestyle. Contributes to awareness and education of the community, in general, on issues related to health./p> <

24. Provide orientation, bedside training and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees (interns, residents and fellows) as assigned./p> <

25. Participate in self-and others education, training and development as applicable and department s educational activities and training programs of the department./p> <

26. Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG./p> <

27. Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity/p> <

28. Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities/p><
