Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive skin examinations to diagnose conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
  • Perform advanced dermatological procedures, including Mohs surgery and laser therapy, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate both medical and cosmetic dermatology to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest dermatological research and technologies to provide cutting-edge care.
  • Educate patients on skin care regimens and preventive measures to promote long-term skin health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage complex cases requiring multidisciplinary approaches.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives to contribute to the advancement of dermatological science.
  • Lead and mentor junior dermatologists and medical staff to foster a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness about skin health and available treatments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MD or DO degree with a completed residency in dermatology from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in dermatology, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a dermatology practice, showcasing hands-on skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for diverse patient interactions.
  • Strong technical skills in dermatological procedures, including biopsies and cosmetic treatments.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively explain diagnoses and treatments to patients.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with patients, making them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and treatment modalities.
