Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical and procedural dermatology services, with exposure to a broad range of adult and paediatric dermatological conditions in a modern, well-equipped clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnosis and management of general, medical, and complex dermatological conditions
- Manage acute and chronic skin diseases, including inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and pigmentary disorders
- Perform dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and electrosurgery
- Diagnose and manage skin cancers and pre-malignant lesions
- Provide dermatological consultations for inpatient and outpatient services
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards
- Deliver aesthetic dermatology, laser treatments, or dermatosurgery services (if trained)
- Contribute to service development and expansion of dermatology offerings
- Work collaboratively with plastic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, and primary care teams
- Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control standards
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education
- Support teaching and mentoring of junior medical staff as required
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification or specialist qualification in Dermatology
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialist consultant-level experience (training pathway dependent)
- Eligibility for licensure with DOH (Abu Dhabi Department of Health)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Experience in cosmetic / aesthetic dermatology and laser procedures
- Experience in dermatologic surgery or Mohs surgery (if applicable)
- International training or experience (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient setting
- Patient-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- High standards of clinical excellence and professionalism
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural healthcare environment
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development
