Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and update engineering drawings and IFC packages according to project requirements and standards.

  • Develop and revise electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings as needed for substations, utilities, and related projects.
  • Convert raster/PDF drawings into editable vector formats using CAD tools (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
  • Incorporate fire protection design requirements into engineering packages (battery life calculations, cause-and-effect matrix, riser diagrams, wiring details, etc.).
  • Ensure drawing accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams to reflect design changes in updated drawings.
  • Issue final as-built drawings upon completion of projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree holder with 5 years experience in design and drafting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of fire protection design is a strong plus.
  • Experience in projects with major companies such as Aramco or SEC is preferred.
  • Developing design package, drawing, development of SLD and as built drawing....etc.
  • Not more than 55 years old.

YEARS OF EXPERTISE:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as Design and Drafting Engineer.
